About Us
We are a proud volunteer, community-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) recreational baseball organization committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and affordable baseball experience for children and teens ages 2 through 19. Our mission is to ensure that every player, regardless of experience, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
Baseball should be fun, and that philosophy guides everything we do. There are no tryouts, no cuts, and every child receives equal playing time. We focus on building confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and skills in a supportive environment where families feel welcome and kids look forward to every game. Our Pony League organization covers territory in Scottdale and Everson Borough, and East Huntingdon and Upper Tyrone Townships.
Age Divisions
Our program is structured to meet kids where they are developmentally, offering age-appropriate levels of play:
• Itty Bitty (2–3 years) – A playful, engaging introduction to baseball
• T-Ball (4–6 years) – Building early fundamentals in a fun, low-pressure setting
• 8U Coach Pitch (6–8 years) – Learning to hit pitched balls and build game awareness
• 10U (8–10 years) – Skill growth and position fundamentals
• 12U (10–12 years) – Increased competition with continued player development
• 15U (13–15 years) – Refining skills and teamwork
• 19U (16–19 years) – Competitive recreational play for older teens
Division placement is determined by the player’s age as of April 30, 2026 to keep teams fair and consistent throughout the season.
Who We Play Under
We are proud to play under the guidance of Hempfield Area Athletic Association, also known as HAAA, which helps provide structure, scheduling, and support for our older divisions.
Our Itty Bitty and T-Ball programs are kept in-house to create a safe, beginner-friendly environment. Depending on the number of players each year, T-Ball teams may occasionally travel to nearby local fields for additional game opportunities.
What’s New This Season
We are continually working to make participation easier for families. This year, we’re excited to share:
• No concession stand requirements
• No volunteer hold check
• Optional volunteers are still encouraged and welcomed, especially for concession stand help and small game-day tasks.
Our Commitment
As a recreational league, our focus goes far beyond wins and losses. We aim to create a place where kids can make friends, build character, stay active, and enjoy the excitement of baseball in a positive, family-oriented atmosphere.
Whether your child is picking up a glove for the first time or continuing their baseball journey, we are here to support them every step of the way
